5. WHEN DEVELOPMENT STARTS
For a payment-plan order, development begins after:
The customer selects a plan.
The required initial payment is received.
The project requirements have been sufficiently provided.
The customer provides the necessary information/materials required to begin.
Delays caused by missing customer information, content or approvals may affect the project timeline.
6. DEMO, APPROVAL AND GO-LIVE
A working website demo is generally provided within approximately 4–5 days or within another timeline agreed for the project.
The customer may review the website and request reasonable changes within the agreed scope.
Payment-plan customers
For 3- or 6-month payment plans, the website goes live after:
The design has been approved; and
The payment due at that stage has been completed.
Remaining payments continue according to the selected payment plan.
Full-payment customers
For full-payment orders, the final payment must be cleared before the approved website goes live.
7. REFUND BEFORE DEMO DELIVERY
If a customer requests cancellation before the website demo has been delivered, the website development amount paid may be eligible for a full refund, subject to the terms of the particular order.
Where separate third-party costs have already been incurred at the customer’s request or with the customer’s approval, such third-party costs may be treated separately according to the relevant provider’s refund rules.
Examples may include:
Domain registration
Premium software
Third-party licences
Paid integrations
Special services purchased specifically for the project
8. REFUND AFTER DEMO DELIVERY
Once a working website demo has been delivered, the project has entered the design and development stage in which work has been performed specifically for the customer.
Accordingly, cancellation after demo delivery will generally not qualify for an automatic full refund.
If the customer believes that the website materially fails to meet the agreed project scope, the customer should contact EMI Web.in and provide the details.
EMI Web.in will review the matter and, where appropriate, provide an opportunity to correct material issues within the agreed scope.
Nothing in this policy is intended to remove any rights available to a customer under applicable law.
9. REFUND AFTER WEBSITE APPROVAL OR GO-LIVE
Once the customer has approved the website and/or the website has been taken live, payments made towards the completed website service are generally non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or EMI Web.in agrees otherwise in writing.
Approval may be communicated through email, WhatsApp, telephone confirmation or another mutually accepted communication method.
10. CUSTOMER REQUESTED CANCELLATION
If the customer voluntarily cancels a project after work has commenced:
Work already completed may be taken into account.
Third-party expenses may be non-refundable.
Domain and hosting charges already incurred may be non-refundable where the third-party provider does not provide a refund.
Any outstanding contractual payment obligations may continue to apply where applicable.
The exact treatment will depend on the stage of the project and the circumstances of cancellation.
11. OVERDUE PAYMENTS
If a scheduled payment is not received by the agreed due date, EMI Web.in may:
Pause the website.
Stop further development.
Suspend related services.
Restrict access to hosted services.
Delay further work.
Keep the website paused until outstanding payment is received.
The website may remain paused for as long as the applicable amount remains unpaid.
12. REACTIVATION AFTER NON-PAYMENT
Payment of an overdue amount does not necessarily result in instant automatic reactivation.
After payment is received, EMI Web.in may require reasonable time to verify the payment and reactivate the relevant services.
If additional technical work is required because the website or hosting environment has been affected during an extended suspension, additional charges may apply where communicated in advance.
13. DOMAIN AND HOSTING RENEWAL
The website package includes one year of domain and hosting unless otherwise stated.
After the included period:
Domain renewal charges apply.
Hosting renewal charges apply.
Third-party pricing may change.
Renewal amounts may differ from the original package price.
EMI Web.in will aim to inform customers approximately one week before the renewal date through email, WhatsApp or phone.
If renewal payment is not completed before expiry, the website and/or domain may expire or become suspended according to the relevant provider’s rules.
14. EXPIRED DOMAIN
Once a domain expires, recovery is controlled by the domain registrar and the applicable domain extension rules.
EMI Web.in cannot guarantee that an expired domain can always be recovered.
If recovery is possible, additional registrar recovery, redemption or related charges may apply.
If a domain becomes available for registration by another party, EMI Web.in cannot guarantee that the customer will be able to recover it.
15. DOMAIN AND HOSTING TRANSFER
During an active payment plan, domain and hosting credentials may remain under EMI Web.in / Yellow Petals management.
This is because the website is being provided under a part-payment arrangement.
After all website payments have been completed, the customer may request:
Option 1: Transfer/manage the domain and hosting through their own account, subject to registrar/provider rules.
Option 2: Continue allowing EMI Web.in / Yellow Petals to manage the domain and hosting and pay the applicable annual renewal amount.
16. NO AUTOMATIC RENEWAL
Domain and hosting renewal will not be automatically charged to the customer’s card or bank account by EMI Web.in.
The customer must manually approve and make the renewal payment.
Failure to renew may result in service or domain expiry.
17. DIGITAL MARKETING PAYMENTS
Digital marketing services are separate from website development.
Marketing service fees, advertising budgets, campaign periods, deliverables and payment arrangements will be communicated separately through email, WhatsApp or telephone.
Advertising spend paid to platforms such as Google, Meta or other advertising platforms is separate from EMI Web.in’s service fee unless expressly stated otherwise.
18. NO GUARANTEE OF MARKETING RESULTS
Payment for digital marketing services is payment for the agreed marketing work and service delivery.
It is not a payment for guaranteed:
Sales
Revenue
Leads
Enquiries
Bookings
Purchases
Search rankings
Return on advertising spend
Specific conversion rates
Results depend on factors outside EMI Web.in’s control, including audience, location, budget, competition, offer, product, pricing, market demand, advertising platform performance and customer response.
19. FAILED, DUPLICATE OR INCORRECT PAYMENTS
Customers should contact EMI Web.in immediately if:
A payment was sent twice.
The wrong amount was sent.
A payment was sent to an incorrect account.
A transaction appears successful but has not been confirmed.
A payment was made but the reference/details were not received.
